If you’re considering a NuRoof roof refurbish powered by GoNano, you’re probably asking one thing:
“What does the warranty cover—and what do I need to do so it’s valid?”
Here’s the clear breakdown for homeowners.
Quick Answer (60 seconds)
NuRoof Fortify (GoNano Shingle Saver)
Warranty term: 15 years
Roof/shingle age at treatment: shingles must be no more than 5 years old
Remedy (if claim qualifies): GoNano may replace treated shingles when their report/final analysis confirms a covered failure.
NuRoof Revive (GoNano Revive)
Warranty term: 10 years
Roof/shingle age at treatment: shingles must be 5 to 20 years old
Remedy (if claim qualifies): GoNano may replace treated shingles on a prorated schedule (coverage value decreases over time).
Two deadlines that matter:
Register within 30 days of the treatment date
If an issue happens later, you must file the claim within 30 days of discovering the problem, or it can void coverage.
1) What the GoNano warranty is (and what it isn’t)
This is a limited warranty issued by Les Produits GoNano, Inc., tied to the GoNano treatment and the specific terms in the warranty document.
It is not roof insurance and does not cover every possible roof problem (hail, wind, falling branches, neglect, etc.).
2) Which NuRoof option fits my roof?
NuRoof Fortify (GoNano Shingle Saver)
Fortify is designed for newer roofs.
Eligibility: at the treatment date, shingles must be ≤ 5 years old
Warranty: 15 years from the treatment date
NuRoof Revive (GoNano Revive)
Revive is designed for mid-life roofs.
Eligibility: at the treatment date, shingles must be 5–20 years old
Warranty: 10 years from the treatment date (prorated remedy value)
If you don’t know your roof age, that’s normal. We help you estimate it during the assessment so you don’t get put in the wrong warranty band.
3) What counts as a warranty issue?
The warranty has specific claim triggers, and GoNano’s process involves documentation and analysis.
In general, a claim may qualify if GoNano confirms the product failed and the failure meets the warranty’s defined conditions (examples include significant shingle deterioration patterns and/or water leak penetration through shingles during the warranty period).
Key point: GoNano’s report and final analysis determine whether the issue qualifies and whether exclusions apply.
4) What “prorated” means for NuRoof Revive
If your roof is in the NuRoof Revive track, the replacement remedy is prorated by year:
Year 1: 100%
Year 2: 90%
Year 3: 80%
Year 4: 70%
Year 5: 60%
Year 6: 50%
Year 7: 40%
Year 8: 30%
Year 9: 20%
Year 10: 10%
Translation: the sooner a covered failure happens after treatment, the higher the remedy value.
5) How to register your GoNano warranty (don’t skip this)
To keep your warranty valid:
Register within 30 days
Use GoNano’s residential warranty form:https://gonano.com/residential-warranty-form
Keep your documentation
You’ll want your paid invoice and your warranty confirmation saved for your records.
(Our NuRoof process uses digital signature + confirmation so you have clean, tamper-proof records—but the legal warranty terms are defined by GoNano’s warranty document.)
6) How to file a warranty claim
If you believe you have a warranty issue:
File within 30 days of discovering the issue
Email GoNano at: warranty@gonano.com
Be prepared to provide documentation (treatment date/invoice, photos, roof age proof if available, and access if inspection is required)
7) What’s usually NOT covered (common exclusions)
Homeowners ask this all the time—so here’s the reality.
Common exclusions include things like:
Acts of God (hail, windstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.)
Neglect / poor maintenance
Harsh chemicals / unapproved cleaners
Damage from foot traffic, construction, tools, or third parties
Underlying roof system issues (drainage problems, substrate/assembly issues, structural movement)
Damage from added equipment/structures (including solar/HVAC) under the warranty’s exclusion language
If hail is your concern (Utah homeowners—this is big), treat hail as an insurance category, not a product warranty category.
8) Can the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
Both the Shingle Saver and Revive warranty documents include an assignment process (assignment form + GoNano acknowledgment requirements). If resale value matters to you, tell us upfront and we’ll walk you through what the transfer process looks like.
Want us to confirm your warranty track?
If you want the simplest next step, ask this during your assessment:
“Which NuRoof GoNano option do I qualify for—Fortify or Revive—and what do I need to do to lock in the warranty correctly?”
That’s the right question. Contact Us Today.
